LoftLife made the trip to a brand new design store, West + Green in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. For such a spacious store, West + Green has a warm sense and an inviting presence. We spoke with founder and designer John Krenek on his personal design aesthetic, his reasons for opening a store in Brooklyn, and his favorite pieces in the store.

LoftLife partnered with DWR Atlanta for "Lofts Within Reach" to celebrate our Winter issue. Four panelists and a studio full of loft dwellers talked about the distinguishing characteristics of a loft and intown living. Speakers tackled the design challenges of open plan living, storage solutions and modern multi-use furniture. The event was both educational and entertaining.
